Critical Software Technologies Ltd (CSWT) is pleased to announce that it has signed a collaboration agreement with Zircon Software Ltd (Zircon), under which the two companies will jointly pursue opportunities for high-integrity software and systems development in the transportation sector, both in the UK and abroad.

CSWT is part of the Critical Group, a high-growth technology enterprise with offices across Europe. From its main base in Southampton, CSWT delivers high-integrity solutions to complex, dynamic requirements across the avionics, space and transport markets. Trowbridge-based Zircon has an admirable track record in developing software for control centres, train carried embedded systems and engineering support tools for the rail industry. Both companies work to the highest appropriate quality and safety standards.

CSWT’s MD, Dr Simon Kampa, said: “This collaboration will give added impetus to our efforts to continue our growth in the UK and northern Europe. In many ways, Zircon is the ideal partner for us, but most notably for its experience in the rail sector, one area in which we have hitherto not been strong.”
